Ihar Babkoŭ is a poet, philisopher and traveller.
He is the author of three collections of poetry – “Solus Rex” (1992), “Герой вайны за празрыстасць” (“Hero of the War for Transparency”, 1998), and “Засынаць, прачынацца, слухаць галасы рыб” (“To fall asleep, to wake up, to listen to the voices of fish”, 2009). He is also the author of the novels “Адам Клакоцкі і ягоныя цені” (“Adam Kłakocki and his shadows”, 2001), “Хвілінка: тры гісторыі” (“Chvilinka: The three stories”, 2013), “Хвілінка: другая кніга” (“Chvilinka: The second book”, 2017), as well as the collection of essays “Каралўства Беларусь: вытлумачэнні ру(і)наў” (“The Kingdom of Belarus: explaining the ru(i)nes”, 2005).
Ihar Babkoŭ lives in Minsk.
This is a living book of poetry: the verses are nailed to the pages of life, the comments are written by the reality inself, the publisher has long been on the wanted list, the price evokes a nervous smile.
