Georgij Bartosh is the writer, history teacher and the literary process in Belarus. Born in 1967 in Ščučyn. Graduated from the Faculty of History of the Belarusian State Pedagogical University (1993). Author of the book of poetry and translations of poetry “The Boots” (“Ботиночки”, 2015). Author of the book of short prose “Sarabanda” (“Сарабанда”, 2017). Author and editor of the “Anthology of the contemporary Belarusian vers libre” (2019). Fouder of the international festival of Christmas and New Year poetry “The Festival of One Poem” (“Фэст аднаго верша”). Lives in Minsk.
In this collection of selected poems from 2016-2024 the author’s Point of View captures the surrounding daily life using his finely attuned poetic lens. Some texts have been published in “Taŭbin”, the online magazine for contemporary Belarusian poetry.
